Caring for Your Pearls

How to clean pearls
Wipe your pearls with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear. If needed, use a damp cloth with very mild, non-detergent soap. Never submerge pearl strands in water.
How to store jewellery
Store pearls separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratching from other jewellery. Avoid airtight containers, as pearls need moisture from the air to maintain their lustre.
Avoiding chemicals and perfumes
Apply perfume, hairspray, and makeup before putting on your pearls. Chemicals can dull the nacre (surface) of the pearl over time. "Last on, first off" is the golden rule.
When to restring pearl jewellery
For frequently worn strands, we recommend professional restringing every 1-2 years. Check for stretching of the silk thread or fraying between pearls.
Travel and storage recommendations
Use a dedicated jewellery roll for travel. Ensure each piece is secured to avoid tangling or impact during transit.
