How do I book an in-studio appointment?
You can request an appointment via our Consultation Form. We will review your requirements and provide available times. Once confirmed, we will share our studio address and preparation details.
What is the timeline for bespoke jewellery?
Bespoke projects typically take 4–8 weeks from design approval, depending on material sourcing and complexity. We will provide a specific estimate during your initial consultation.
Do you require a deposit for custom work?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the sourcing and handcrafting phase of any bespoke or custom bridal piece.
Can I see pieces in person before buying?
As we are an appointment-only studio, you can book a viewing consultation to see specific collection pieces or discuss custom designs in person.
What are your shipping rates within New Zealand?
We offer flat-rate tracked shipping across NZ for $12. Orders over $300 qualify for complimentary tracked shipping.
Do you offer jewellery repairs?
We offer repairs and restringing for all MistpearlStudio pieces. For heirloom redesigns or repairs of external jewellery, an initial assessment is required.
What types of pearls do you use?
We specialise in high-quality Freshwater, Akoya-style, and organic Baroque pearls. Every pearl is hand-selected for its unique lustre and character.
Can you rush a bridal order?
If your wedding date is approaching soon, please contact us immediately. We will check our current studio capacity and material availability to see if a rush order is possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, bank transfers (for NZ residents), and offer flexible payment plans for significant bespoke commissions.
How should I care for my pearls?
Pearls are organic gems. We recommend the "last on, first off" rule—apply perfumes and hairspray before putting on your pearls, and wipe them with a soft cloth after wearing.
